Role

Guide and manage once in providing quality service to new and existing members. This includes accounts,transactions, loan applications, account openings and more. Exemplify core values while leading branch staff. Solve problems within established policies and guidelines.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Train and maintain a highly motivated staff, assuring compliance with company policies and regulations with continued growth by completing regular employee performance reviews. Support hiring efforts of qualified applicants.
  • Act as a loan offcer for processing, underwriting and approving loan applications within established limits and lending policies.
    Assist staff and members in solving complex account problems in a timely and effective manner.
  • Monitor branch operations to ensure individual employee tasks are completed correctly and that they are in compliance with company policies and regulations set in place by the Credit Union, NCUA and other regulatory agencies.
  • Maintain and work branch collections on a daily basis. Work alongside loan manager and other staff as needed to effectively manage past due and delinquent accounts.
  • Be the community Credit Union representative. Participate in branch networking opportunities. This includes events, business visits etc. Create and maintain a fun and motivated cross-selling environment within the branch.
  • Monitor branch appearance to ensure consistent and professional approach. This includes but is not limited to staff compliance with dress code policies and branch facilities etc.
  • Manage the safety and security of the branch. Analyze and monitor security policies and robbery procedures on a regular basis. Ensure staff is effectively trained in maintaining security policies within the branch at all times. Ensure staff receives on going security and robbery training.
  • Utilize weekly and monthly reports to monitor branch activity including transactions, volume, teller errors, loan volume etc. Use reports to assist in growth of branch production.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Experience - Two to five years of similar or related experience, including time spent in preparatory positions.
  • Education/Certifications/Licenses - High school degree or GED required.
  • Interpersonal Skills - A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required to be an effective subject matter expert in the position. In-depth dialogues, conversations and explanations with customers, direct and indirect reports and outside vendors of a sensitive and/or highly confidential nature is a normal part of the day-to-day experience. Communications can involve motivating, influencing, educating and/or advising others on matters of
    significance.

Role

Serve as liaison between the member and the credit union. Provide account information in person or by phone as well as information on the full range of credit union products and services. Open accounts for members, resolve issues, interview and professionally handle the member’s daily needs. Provide a variety of transactional services to members including loan processing, closing and disbursal. Travel to whichever branch is in need of assistance for the day.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Interview loan applicants in-person or by-telephone. Assist members with loan application process to ensure completeness of information. Explain the loan process to members to include loan options, insurance on loan products, loan policies, interest rates, payoffs, etc. Process, close and disburse loans.
  • Conduct interviews on credit union services and programs with each new credit union member. Open new account products and service existing accounts. Promote and cross-sell products and services based on member need. Set up new account files and provide members with all necessary information for membership and available products and services.
  • Greet and welcome members to the credit union in a courteous, professional and timely manner, providing prompt, accurate and efficient member service and transactions.
  • Provide in-person and by-telephone/email general and specific service related information concerning credit union services or policies. Respond to member requests, problems or complaints or direct them to the appropriate person for specific information and assistance. May handle more complex questions or problems for other team members.
  • Research accounts for deposit, withdrawal, and loan payment discrepancies. Assist members in balancing their accounts.
  • Maintain an up-to-date and comprehensive knowledge on all credit union products and services that are handled or promoted by Service Representatives. Maintain an up-todate and comprehensive knowledge on all related policies, procedures, and rules and regulations.
  • Travel to the designated branch each day. Serves as Teller as needed by branch. Assist Tellers and research and resolve discrepancies.
  • Scan daily work and perform such other functions that might be needed from time to time, and assist others to complete tasks and work assignments.
  • Ensure that work area is properly stocked with forms, supplies, brochures, etc. 

Knowledge and Skills

  • Experience - Two to five years of similar or related experience, including time spent in preparatory positions.
  • Education/Certifications/Licenses - High school degree or GED required.
  • Interpersonal Skills - Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization, generally regarding routine matters for purposes of giving and obtaining information, as well as advising or referring, which commonly require shorter discussions.

Role

Receives incoming calls and determines the products, services or resources that the caller requires (or could benefit from). Provides direct support services to members; or, connects them with the appropriate staff representative.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identify products/services that might be beneficial to members and provide information about their value and benefit.
  • Answer incoming calls, online chat, email inquiries to determine the needs of the caller and verify the caller’s identity, minimizing the caller’s time and effort in resolving their concern.
  • Perform teller functions for members (i.e. transfer funds between accounts and/or loan, stop payments, close and reorder debit cards, provide balances and recent transactions, reissue and reset pin numbers, process loan or credit card payments, etc.) to assure members needs are addressed in a polite and friendly manner.
  • Assist members with the loan application process to ensure completeness of information. Explain the loan process to members to include loan options, insurance on loan products, loan policies, interest rates, payoffs, etc.
  • Cross-sell services and assist members in setting up online banking enrollment.
  • Assist other departments and branches with transactions as needed, provide support for branches in fulfilling member requests.
  • Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.

  • Experience - Six months to two years of similar or related experience, including time spent in preparatory positions.

Role

The Executive Assistant provides executive support to the CEO, Board of Directors, senior management and the marketing department. Serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to the Office of the President. Also, serves as a liaison to the board of directors and executive management team, organizes and coordinates executive outreach and external relations efforts.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provides executive support to the CEO, Board of Directors, senior management and the marketing department.
  • Plans and executes monthly Board Meeting and is responsible for miscellaneous duties as related to the Board of Directors.
  • Responsible for miscellaneous Human Resource duties.
  • Provides clerical and coordinating support for marketing the marketing department with various functions.
  • Cross-sell services and assist members in setting up online banking enrollment.
  • Types, drafts, assimilates and distributes correspondence for President and Senior Managers.
  • Serves as the company's purchasing agent for all office supplies, kitchen supplies and other miscellaneous supplies and equipment, excluding high dollar items.
  • Maintains corporate files and proper filing of all correspondence.
  • Responsible for various IT functions such as resetting passwords, etc.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Experience - 6 months to 2 years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.
  • Education/Certifications/Licenses - High school degree or GED required.
  • Interpersonal Skills - A significant level of trust, credibility and diplomacy is required. In-depth dialogue, conversations and explanations with members, direct and indirect reports and outside vendors can be of a sensitive and/or highly confidential nature. Communications may involve motivating, influencing, educating and/or advising others on matters of significance. Typically includes subject matter experts as well as first level to middle managers.
