2026 Scholarship Recipients Announced

AlaTrust4U Foundation Awards 8 Scholarships to Support Members’ Educational Dreams

The AlaTrust4U Foundation is proud to announce the recipients of its 2026 scholarship awards. Each year, the foundation provides scholarships to deserving members who are continuing their education at a college, university, community college, or technical school, helping make their academic goals more achievable.

The AlaTrust4U Foundation Scholarship Program was created to give back to our members and invest in the future of the communities we serve. This year’s recipients were selected through an application process that included personal essays describing their educational goals, career ambitions, and the difference this scholarship will make in their lives. Through their words, these students shared inspiring stories of hard work, determination, and a strong desire to build a better future. This year, we awarded over $7,500+ in scholarship funds to deserving students in our communities.

Giving Back

“The most rewarding part of this program each year is reading the students’ essays and learning about their dreams for the future,” said Rachel Kang, Director of AlaTrust4U Foundation Board.  “These scholarships represent more than financial support — they represent encouragement, opportunity, and our belief in the potential of our members.”

Through the AlaTrust4U Foundation, AlaTrust Credit Union remains committed to strengthening the communities we serve by supporting education, promoting opportunity, and giving back to the members who make our organization strong.

The scholarship program is offered annually, and eligible members are encouraged to apply when the next application period opens (August 1, 2026 - March 17th, 2027).
