Students ages 14–25 are invited to join our Momentum savings program, designed to equip the next generation with the knowledge, tools, and financial wellness needed for a successful future. Momentum accounts provide students with access to full banking services, including savings, checking, debit/credit cards, and more.

From helping students establish credit to assisting with student loans/scholarships to purchasing their first car, AlaTrust’s Momentum program prepares you for the early years of financial independence, setting you up for future success. Scholarship Opportunities for Momentum Members 

At AlaTrust, we believe in investing in your future! We offer scholarship opportunities to help students achieve their academic goals.

"What Would You Buy with $100?" Writing Contest

📖 How it Works: High school students (grades 9–11) are invited to submit a one-page essay explaining how they would use $100.

🏆Prize: The winner will receive $100 deposited into their AlaTrust account and be recognized on AlaTrust’s social media and in-branch displays.

✍️Application: Submit your essay By April 30th, 2025 to be entered. Winner Selected May 1st!

AlaTrust College Scholarship 

🎓 Who Can Apply: High school seniors through college students (up to age 25)  who are members of Momentum.

✍️ How to Apply: Submit an application with your current transcript and essay detailing your educational goals and how the scholarship would help you. Applications for the 2026 school year open in August 2025. Deadline to apply is May 1st, 2026.

🏆 Scholarship Award: Multiple winners will receive a $1,000 scholarship to assist with educational expenses.
